Beautiful Feet Ministries feeds, clothes and helps poor including children while Christ’s Haven provides homes for children. Catholic Charities extensive poverty programs support children and adults and they work on inner-city and secondary education success for children. KIPP Charter Schools and American Federation for Children work towards improved educational opportunities for at-risk children. Year Up and ScholarShot provide educational and career success paths for at-risk adolescent young people.

KIPP DFW is part of a successful national KIPP Charter School Network with  over 170,000 children given the opportunity of choice for a superior educational opportunity. Success results from KIPP DFW are outstanding, far surpassing other public schools and creating great future opportunity for at-risk inner-city children.

School choice voucher programs for inner-city children promoted by American Federation for Children are available in over half of the states in the US, creating great educational choice opportunities. Competition through vouchers used at private schools, charters and public schools increases focus on the real customer…the parent and the child.

The educational performance statistics for inner-city public schools nationally are abysmal, creating outcomes driving a cycle of poverty, incarceration, a life on welfare and food stamps and a cycle of failure.
